Will there be somewhere to take confidential phone calls and Teams calls?

Accepted Answer

There are a choice of settings you can go to and take a call including phone booths, collaboration booths and touchdown areas away from the open plan workstations.

Are there quiet areas of the office to work in?

Accepted Answer

The office floor is designed with zoning in mind to create areas where noise levels are lower and other areas are more active. The quieter end of the floor is furthest away from the entrance towards the corner 1:1 room. The higher noise level area is at the breakout/ tea point end of the floorplate.

Is there somewhere I can work when I need to be focussed and undisturbed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is a focus booth which is available for periods of time to enable deep focus work away from the general office area.
There is also the library space which is for focus work and where phone calls are not permitted.

Will the technology in the alternative work settings support hybrid meetings?

Accepted Answer

Work settings can support hybrid meetings through your laptop and some have a large screen to link into. It is encouraged that Teams calls are taken in the alternative settings or meeting rooms away from the open plan desk areas to reduce distraction to others.

Meeting rooms, 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be able to support hybrid meetings through the Crestron technology which is Teams run. When scheduling a meeting you will need to invite the meeting room to the meeting which will then book this room and ensure your are linked via Teams. Your laptop is not needed with Crestron to link into Teams.
